    The 21st match was between Delhi daredevils and Deccan chargers which was held at super Sport park, Centurion. Delhi daredevil won the toss and chose to field first. Gilchrist and Gibbs dint play well. DR Smith made 48 runs in just 28 balls. Other batsman scores 20 odd runs. The Delhi team had a good bowling side attach and restricted them to 148 runs giving away 7.40 runs per over. They lost 9 wickets in 20 over as well. Nannes and Nehra took 2 wickets each. The next inning by Delhi daredevils, Gambhir score 17 while Sehwag made 20 runs. The top scorer was Dilshan and Karthik who made 52 and 41 runs respectively. They reached the target in 18.4 over at the rate of 8.03 runs per over. SM Shoaib picked 2 wickets for his side. DP Nannes was the player of the match. The Daredevils played well and moved their path for victory.

    Indian premier league’s 20th match was between Kings XI Punjab vs. Mumbai Indians was a day/night match which was played at Kingsmead, Durban. The Punjab team won the toss and chose to bat first. Opening was by Boar who scored only 6 runs. Goal played for just 12 runs. It was Sangakkara who made 45 runs. Other lost their wicket early and managed a score of 119 of the run rate of 5.95 runs per overs. Malinga picked up 2 wickets. Zaheer Khan, Singh, bravo, Duminy and Jayasuriya picked one wicket each. 120 was a gettable target and Mumbai Indians failed to make it with the help of Duminy they gave a tough fight. Jayasurya and Tendulkar dint perform well and lost their wickets in single digits. Bravo scored 15 runs and others in the team collapsed easily and gave their wickets easily. The Kings Punjab won by three wickets. The man of the match was given to Sangakkara. This was one of the thrilled in the second edition of IPL

    The 19th match was held in Kingsmead, Durban between Royal Challengers Bangalore v Kolkata Knight Riders. Kolkata knight riders won the toss and chose to bat first. Gayle played well for his 40 runs followed by Van Wyk with 43 runs for just 35 runs. At the end of the 20 over the royal challengers made 139 runs with run rate with 6.95. Kumble took 2 wickets, while Pietersen and Van Der Merwe, Praveen, KP Appanna took one wicket each. Royal challengers started off the bating with Kallis, Goswami started well scoring 23 and 43 runs, and Boucher made 25 runs with just 13 runs. At the end, Bangalore team out played the Kolkata team. Mark Boucher was given the man of the match award. This was a clear one sided match and it was an easy win by the Royal Challengers.

    The 18th match of the Indian Premier League was between Rajasthan royals and Delhi daredevils. This match was played in super sport park, centurion. Daredevils won the toss and toss and chose to bat first. Delhi daredevils started their match with Gambhr and Sehwag who dint not do a great performance and gave their wicket to Mascarenhas of the Rajasthan Royals. It is only AB de Villiers who made 50 runs. Vettori and Karthik made 20 odd runs each. At the end of the 20 over they made 143 runs with the loss of 7 wickets with a run rate of 7.15 per over. Rajasthan started their inning with Quiney and smith. Smith played well for 44 runs and Pathan played well for 62 runs. The Rajasthan made it well at the end. They made their target in just 18.3 over. Mishra took 3 wickets for Delhi daredevils. YK Pathan won the man of the match title.

    The 17th match was held between Kolkata knight Riders vs. Mumbai Indians. The match was played with St George’s Park, Port Elizabeth. The toss was won by Mumbai Indians and they chose to bat first. Jayasurya and Tendulkar have opened a blazing start. Jayasurya made 52 runs and Tendulkar made 68 runs each. In the end 187 runs was made with 9.35 runs per over. Losing 6 wickets from their side, LR Shukla took 3 wickets, for his side. From Kolkata knight riders, McCullum and Gayle opened the batting but failed to perform well. Only Gangly and Hodge managed to get 24 and 34 runs each. All other lost their early wickets and made 95 runs. Malinga picked 3 wickets and bravo picked two. Mumbai was on top in bowling and batting as well. This is indeed a great match. Mumbai won by 92 runs. Sachin Tendulkar was given the man of the match.

    The 16th match of the Indian premier league was between Chennai Super kings vs. Deccan Chargers. Deccan chargers won the toss and elected to field first. For the Chennai Super Kings Patel and Hayden opened the innings. Patel lost his wicket in his second ball. Hayden and Raina started their natural game. Raina lost his wicket to Sharma and made 25 runs. Dhoni made 22 runs. Oram played well for his 41 runs. Hayden also scored 49 runs. They set the target about 8.25 runs per over. it was a gettable score for the Deccan chargers. The opener Gilchrist played well scoring 44 runs in 19 balls, Gibbs also played well with 69 runs in just 56 balls. it was clean sweep by the Deccan chargers and they reached the score in style. SM Shoaib was the debut player for Deccan chargers and HH Gibbs took was given the man of the match title.

    The 15th match was held between Kings X1 Punjab vs Rajasthan Royals. This was held in Newlands, Cape Town. This was a day/ night match. Kings X1 Punjab won the toss and elected to bat first. RS Boar and Goal opened the batting and Goal was back to the pavilion without facing any ball. Sangakkara made 60 runs and held the innings in place for managed to get 139 runs scoring 6.95 per over. Kamran khan picked up 2 wickets to his credit. Asnodkar and Smith started the batting for Rajasthan Royals. Almost all batsmen failed to do well. It was only Rault who scored 34 runs. On the completion of 20 over, the Rajasthan made just 112 runs. It was a glorious victory for kingsX1 Punjab and won by 27 runs. Sangakkara, the Sri Lankan batsman was crowned as the man of the match.

    The 14th match of the Indian Premier League was between Royal challengers Bangalore vs. Delhi Daredevils. This match was played in St George’s Park, Port Elizabeth. The challengers won the toss and chose to bat first. Challengers openers dint perform well as Kallis lost his wicket in his first ball and Uthappa made just 3 runs. Peiterson, Taylor, Kohli and Boucher made 30 odd runs. The team made 149 runs with the run rate of 7.45 per over. Nehra took 2 wickets and other bowler took one wicket each. The target set by the Delhi daredevils was 150 runs from 20 over. The opener Gambhir took 16 runs. Dilshan scored around 67 runs and Villiers added another 20 runs to the team. The Challengers bowler Pankaj Singh took two wickets. It was an easy win for the daredevils and TM Dilshan was awarded the man of the match.

    The thirteenth match of Indian Premier League season 2 was no big thriller for us. It’s a fight between lion and deer. Chennai Super Kings took on Knight Riders of Kolkata. But the Lion is not always lucky. There is something above powerful Lions, rain. Yes, the rain stopped the game. The match was abandoned without a ball being bowled. It’s again rain at Newlands. The match referee GR Viswanath awarded both the teams with one points each.

    The twelfth match of Indian Premier League held at Kingsmead, Durban. Deccan Chargers, which has one the best batting order, won the toss and elected to bat first. Their decision continued to prove fruitful right from the beginning. Openers Gilchirst and Gibbs gave a splendid start with an opening partnership of 63 runs in just 6.5 over. Gilchrist contributed 35 runs off just 20 deliveries. Gibbs continued his blaze partnering with Smith. Smith contributed 35 runs with his bat. Gibbs scored 58 runs off 44 deliveries with 2 sixes and 6 fours. Deccan chargers posted a target of 169 runs for Mumbai Indians. Mumbai Indians gave a tough fight in chasing 169 runs. Tendulkar joined hands with Duminy to give a good start. But later part of the batting brigades failed to deliver much with their bat. Mumbai Indians scored only 158 runs from the stipulated 20 over. Ojha of Deccan chargers who claimed 3 wickets including that of Tendulkar and Ojha was adjudged the Player of the match.
